AIR TAHITI NUI was named "Best Airline -- Pacific Region" for the fourth year in a row by the Skytrax World Airline Survey. Described as the world's largest independent airline poll, the survey also rewarded Air Tahiti Nui with the accolade "Best Cabin Staff -- Australia/Pacific" for the fourth year in a row, outranking Qantas and Air New Zealand. Skytrax surveys measure some 35 different aspects of passenger satisfaction of an airline's product. Results for the 2006 awards were tabulated from surveys of 13.6 million leisure and business airline passengers. Air Tahiti Nui operates on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from New York's Kennedy Airport and daily from Los Angeles to Papeete, Tahiti.
